My love for design started long before I found flowers. As a child, I'd watch Martha Stewart instead of cartoons, captivated by the way she transformed spaces with beauty and intention. That fascination with aesthetics followed me everywhere-through my years in retail, where I gravitated toward merchandising and visual storytelling, and into my studies in the arts, where I explored form, texture, and composition.

It wasn't until I stepped into a floral studio in Cleveland that everything clicked. Flowers held the same magic I had always chased—a blend of structure and wildness, refinement and spontaneity. They allowed me to craft art that wasn't just seen but felt.

Today, through Odette Floral, I create immersive floral experiences for couples who see flowers as more than décor-they are the heart of the celebration.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been captivated by the beauty, romance, and effortless charm of France—especially Paris. But it wasn’t until my 36th birthday that I wandered its streets for the first time. The air felt lighter there—fragrant with blooms, golden with afternoon light. I was spellbound by the way beauty seemed to live in everything: café tables spilling onto cobblestone streets, windows adorned with lace, flower shops bursting open like poems.

Then, tucked into a quiet corner of the city, I saw it: Odette. A name, simply written on a storefront—but it stopped me. It felt like a whisper, soft and timeless. Romantic, yet grounded. It stayed with me long after I returned home.

When it came time to rename my studio, nothing else felt right. Odette Floral is my love letter to that moment—to the beauty I felt in that city, to the art of creating something ephemeral and unforgettable. A name that holds soul, elegance, and a touch of magic—just like the flowers I love to design.
